Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on any road that leads to AZ-89A. From there, take AZ-89A East towards Prescott Valley. Continue on AZ-89A for about 6 miles until you reach the junction with AZ-69. Take the exit for AZ-69 East towards Dewey-Humboldt. After about 1.5 miles, take the exit for Prescott Valley and merge onto N 5th St. Continue on N 5th St for approximately 2 miles, and you will see Fain Park on your right at 2200 N 5th St, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, check the local transit schedules for the Yavapai County Transit system, which operates bus routes around Prescott and Prescott Valley. Look for routes that travel towards Prescott Valley. Once you disembark at a stop near N 5th St, you'll need to walk approximately 0.5 miles south on N 5th St to reach Fain Park at 2200 N 5th St. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as frequency may vary.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can follow the same route as if you were driving. Start from your location within Prescott National Forest and make your way to AZ-89A. Once you reach AZ-89A, head east towards Prescott Valley. After reaching the junction with AZ-69, follow the same directions to N 5th St. Ensure that you have a bike lock and be aware of traffic, especially on N 5th St. There are bike lanes along some parts of the road for your safety.

• Walking

  If you are in Prescott Valley and prefer walking, you can access Fain Park by walking south on N 5th St from the nearby areas. Depending on your starting point, it may take approximately 15-30 minutes on foot. Make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes, as the walk may involve some elevation changes.
