Getting There

Car
From the Saguaro National Park East Entrance, head west on E Old Spanish Trail Rd. Continue for about 6 miles until you reach the intersection with S Houghton Rd. Turn left (south) on S Houghton Rd and drive for approximately 4.5 miles. Merge onto I-10 W via the ramp to Tucson. After about 6 miles, take exit 257 for Speedway Blvd. Turn left onto E Speedway Blvd and continue for approximately 2 miles. Finally, turn right onto E University Blvd, and you will find the Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium located at 1601 E University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85721. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee depending on the lot you choose.

Public Transportation
From Saguaro National Park, you will need to take a taxi or rideshare service to reach the nearest public transportation hub, such as the Tucson Sun Link Streetcar. Once you arrive at the hub, board the streetcar heading towards the University of Arizona. The streetcar ride will take you directly to the university area. Get off at the 'University & Park' stop, and from there, walk about 0.5 miles west along E University Blvd to reach the Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium at 1601 E University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85721. Please note that fares for the streetcar may apply.

Bicycle
If you're an adventurous cyclist, you can bike from Saguaro National Park to Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium. Start by heading west on E Old Spanish Trail Rd, then follow the same route as if driving, but be cautious on the roadways. The ride will be approximately 12 miles and takes around 1 hour, depending on your pace. Once you arrive at 1601 E University Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85721, you can lock your bike at the designated bike racks available near the entrance.
