Walking
If you're staying in downtown Scottsdale, walk east on East Camelback Road until you reach North Hayden Road. Turn left (north) onto Hayden Road. Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach Chaparral Park on your left at 5401 Hayden Rd. Look for the park entrance that features a large sign. The walk should take you approximately 20-25 minutes.
Public Transit
From the Scottsdale Waterfront, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Scottsdale Waterfront on East Camelback Road. Board the Valley Metro Bus Route 72 towards the Scottsdale Rd & Chaparral Rd. After about 10-15 minutes, get off at the Hayden Rd & Chaparral Rd stop. From there, walk south on Hayden Road for about 5 minutes to reach Chaparral Park, located at 5401 Hayden Rd.
Biking
If you have a bike, start from downtown Scottsdale and head east on East Camelback Road. When you reach North Hayden Road, turn left and bike north for about 1 mile. Chaparral Park will be on your left at 5401 Hayden Rd. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed.
