From the Scottsdale Waterfront (near the Arizona Canal), take the Valley Metro bus route 72 heading south. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop at E Indian School Rd & N 84th St. From there, walk east on E Indian School Rd for about 0.5 miles until you reach N 84th St. Turn right (south) on N 84th St and continue walking for another 0.3 miles. Finally, turn left (east) onto E Weldon Ave, and Mad Desert Trekking will be on your left.

Bicycle
If you are comfortable biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Scottsdale. Start at the Scottsdale Waterfront and head east on the Arizona Canal Path. After approximately 1 mile, turn left onto E Indian School Rd. Continue for another mile, then turn right onto N 84th St. Finally, turn left onto E Weldon Ave, and you will find Mad Desert Trekking on your left.

If you are staying in the downtown area of Scottsdale, you can walk to Mad Desert Trekking. Start at the Scottsdale Waterfront and head east along the Arizona Canal Path. Follow the path for about 1.5 miles until you reach E Indian School Rd. Turn left on E Indian School Rd and walk for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto N 84th St and walk 0.3 miles. Finally, turn left onto E Weldon Ave, and Mad Desert Trekking will be on your left.
