Walking
If you are in the center of Sedona, start at the Sedona Visitor Center located at 331 Forest Road. Head south on Forest Road towards AZ-89A. Turn right onto AZ-89A and walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Airport Road. Turn left on Airport Road. Continue walking for about 1 mile until you reach Airport Mesa, located at 483 Airport Rd. You will see the trailhead and parking area on your left.

Public Bus
Take the Verde Lynx public transportation service, specifically Route 2, from the nearest bus stop to your location in Sedona. Make sure to check the schedule for the most current times. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Airport Road' stop. From there, you will need to walk about 0.3 miles down Airport Road to reach Airport Mesa, which is located at 483 Airport Rd. Follow the road until you see the entrance to the hiking area.

If you have access to a bike, start from the Sedona City Hall at 102 Roadrunner Drive. Head west on Roadrunner Drive until you reach AZ-89A. Turn left onto AZ-89A and then turn right onto Airport Road. Follow Airport Road for about 1 mile. Airport Mesa will be on your left at 483 Airport Rd. There are bike racks available for you to secure your bike.
