Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Sedona Visitor Center located at 331 Forest Road, walk south on Forest Road for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 89A. Cross the highway carefully to the other side, as this is a busy road. Continue walking south on the west side of Highway 89A for about 0.6 miles until you reach the entrance to Oak Creek Canyon. From here, look for the marked trail that leads into the canyon. Follow the trail for approximately 0.7 miles, and you will arrive at the Oak Creek Scenic Overlook, which will be on your left. Be sure to enjoy the scenic views along the way!

For those who prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Sedona. Start at the Sedona Visitor Center and bike south on Forest Road for about 0.5 miles, then turn right onto Highway 89A. Continue biking on the designated bike lane for approximately 0.6 miles. Look for the entrance to Oak Creek Canyon, where you can safely park your bike. Then, follow the marked trail into the canyon for about 0.7 miles until you reach the Oak Creek Scenic Overlook. Enjoy the stunning views!
