Walking
If you are in the heart of Sedona, start at the Sedona Visitor Center located at 331 Forest Road. From there, head west on Forest Road until you reach State Route 89A. Turn right onto State Route 89A and continue walking north for approximately 1.5 miles. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Overlook, which will be on your left.
Biking
For those with a bike, rent one from a local shop in Sedona. Start at the Sedona Visitor Center and ride west on Forest Road toward State Route 89A. Once you reach State Route 89A, turn right and head north. The bike ride is about 1.5 miles and will take you through beautiful landscapes. Look for Overlook on your left side.
Public Transport
Take the Verde Lynx public bus service from the Sedona Transit Center. Board the bus heading north on Route 1. The bus will take you along State Route 89A. You need to get off at the stop closest to Overlook, which will be indicated by a sign. After disembarking, walk a short distance back south along State Route 89A to reach Overlook.
