From Sedona's city center, head southwest on Highway 89A for about 4 miles, then turn left onto Red Rock Loop Road. Follow the signs to Crescent Moon Picnic Site. Parking at Crescent Moon Picnic Site costs $12 per vehicle. As an alternative, you can park at Baldwin Trailhead for $5, or use a Red Rock Pass. From the parking areas, follow the trails towards Oak Creek and Buddha Beach.

From the Crescent Moon Picnic Site parking area, follow the Red Rock Crossing Trail along Oak Creek. The trail is relatively flat and easy to navigate. Continue for approximately 0.5 miles until you reach Buddha Beach, marked by the presence of rock cairns along the creek. Alternatively, from the Baldwin Trailhead, walk towards the river until you reach the Red Rock Crossing Trail. Hike for 0.5 miles, switching onto the Templeton Trail, which leads directly to Buddha Beach.
