    Oak Creek Scenic Overlook is located directly off Highway 89A, approximately 14 miles north of Sedona and 17 minutes south of Flagstaff. From either direction, simply follow Highway 89A and watch for signs indicating the overlook. There is a dedicated parking lot at the vista. Parking is free.

    While limited, public transportation is available via the Verde Lynx bus service (Route 3) from various points in Sedona. Get off at the stop closest to the Oak Creek Canyon area and follow signs towards the overlook, about a 15-20 minute walk. Check the bus schedule for accurate timing. Alternatively, take a shuttle from Phoenix to Sedona, and then a local shuttle, taxi, or rideshare to the overlook. Shuttle fare from Phoenix to Sedona is approximately $62 one way.
