    Getting There

    Car

    From your location in Tucson Mountain Park, head east on Kinney Road. Continue on Kinney Road for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Ajo Way (Route 86). Turn left onto Ajo Way. After about 2.5 miles, merge onto I-10 North using the ramp on your left. Stay on I-10 North for approximately 5 miles, then take exit 257 for 22nd St. Turn right onto 22nd St and continue for about 1 mile. Then turn left onto S. Craycroft Road and go about 1 mile. Finally, turn right onto E. 22nd St, and you will find the Giraffe Encounter at Reid Park Zoo on your left. Please note that there is an admission fee to enter the zoo.

    Public Transportation

    From Tucson Mountain Park, you can take Sun Shuttle Route 415 at the nearest bus stop. Travel towards the Tucson Downtown area, and transfer to Sun Tran Route 3 at the Downtown Transfer Center. Route 3 will take you towards Reid Park. Get off at the stop nearest to Reid Park Zoo. The Giraffe Encounter is located inside Reid Park Zoo, and there is an admission fee to enter the zoo. Make sure to check the Sun Tran schedule for the latest timings.
