Getting There

  • Shuttle & Walking

    From the Sabino Canyon Visitor Center (5700 N Sabino Canyon Rd, Tucson, AZ 85750), take the Bear Canyon Shuttle to the Bear Canyon Overlook, the trailhead for Seven Falls. The shuttle costs $8 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-12. From the overlook, follow the Bear Canyon Trail (FS #29) approximately 2.3 miles to Seven Falls. Note that the $8 per vehicle Sabino Canyon Recreation Area amenity fee is not included in the shuttle price and must be purchased separately at the entrance. Parking is $8/day.

  • Walking

    From the Sabino Canyon Visitor Center (5700 N Sabino Canyon Rd, Tucson, AZ 85750), follow Sabino Canyon Road for 0.5 miles until Bear Canyon Road branches off to the right. Continue onto Bear Canyon Road. Follow Bear Canyon Road to the Bear Canyon Trailhead, approximately 2 miles. From the trailhead, hike approximately 2.3 miles on the Bear Canyon Trail (FS #29) to reach Seven Falls. Parking at the Sabino Canyon Recreation Area costs $8 per day.

In the 1930s, the Civilian Conservation Corps built the road into the canyon, which now serves as a starting point for many trails. Today, access to Seven Falls and other areas within Sabino Canyon is limited to foot, bicycle, or the Sabino Canyon Crawler shuttle.
