It later became the printing and distribution center for the Benton County Daily Record, the city's local newspaper, lending the venue its current name.In 2016, the building was transformed into a full-scale event venue, offering a blend of industrial details and modern technologies. The space features wooden barrel ceilings, exposed brick walls, and garage doors, creating a charming and versatile backdrop for any event. Record Downtown offers two large event areas, Record North and Record South, separated by a catering kitchen. Record North provides 4,400 sq. ft. of interior space and a 1,350 sq. ft. veranda, while Record South offers 3,100 sq. ft. of indoor space and a 1,295 sq. ft. outdoor courtyard.With a capacity to accommodate 350 seated guests or 600 for cocktail-style events, Record Downtown is equipped with modern amenities, including a fully integrated AV system, making it suitable for a wide range of events.
