    The Faulkner County Museum is located at 801 Locust Street in downtown Conway, near the Faulkner County Courthouse. If you are already in the downtown area, the museum is easily accessible on foot. From the intersection of Oak Street and Locust Street, walk north on Locust Street for two blocks. The museum will be on your left, across from the courthouse. There is no admission fee.

    If driving to the Faulkner County Museum, navigate to 801 Locust Street, Conway, AR 72034. The museum is located near the Faulkner County Courthouse. Parking is available in the adjacent parking lot. Parking is free. From I-40, take Exit 125 for US-64 E/Harkrider Street. Follow Harkrider Street into downtown Conway. Turn left onto Locust Street. The museum will be on your right. There is no admission fee.

The museum is located in the historic 1896 county jail building, which later served as the county library. Visitors can explore a variety of displays, including a replica 1900 general store, sports memorabilia, medical and dental implements, antique tools and kitchen equipment, and items related to the Works Progress Administration (WPA). A highlight is the model railroad exhibit on the second floor, which replicates the Missouri Pacific Railroad's path through the county. The museum also features collections of art by local artists, historical documents, and photographs. The building itself has a rich history, having served as the county jail from 1896 to 1936. It was then renovated and reopened as the Faulkner County Library in 1938 before becoming the Faulkner County Museum in 1997. The museum also hosts events and activities, including school outreach programs and living history demonstrations.
