The Fort Smith Regional Art Museum (FSRAM) stands as a cultural hub in the heart of Fort Smith, Arkansas. Originating in 1948 with the Arkansas Association of University Women, the museum has evolved into a dynamic space showcasing a diverse range of art. FSRAM's mission is to champion art in the community by providing enriching experiences that are accessible to all. The museum features five galleries with rotating exhibitions of world-class artists, traveling collections, and its own permanent collection. The Dr. W.E. Knight Porcelain Gallery houses one of the largest collections of Boehm porcelain on display in Arkansas. In addition to fine art, FSRAM is dedicated to art education, offering classes, lectures, workshops, and art camps for children and adults. Housed in a renovated mid-century bank building since 2013, the museum itself is an architectural attraction. The building's design incorporates a fritted glass lantern that changes color with the seasons. FSRAM's collection includes works by international award-winning photographer Catriona Fraser and abstract oils by Michael Colpitts. The museum also exhibits art from students at the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith.
