From Springdale, head to the nearest public bus stop and take the Ozark Regional Transit (ORT) bus route that connects to Fayetteville. Look for the bus labeled as Route 3 or Route 4, which will take you towards Fayetteville. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the intersection of Dickson Street and South Block Avenue. From there, walk east on Dickson Street for about 5 minutes, and the Washington County Historical Society will be located on your right at 118 E Dickson St.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Springdale Recreation Center. Head southwest on E Robinson Ave towards S 40th St. Turn left onto S 40th St and continue until you reach S 48th St. Turn right and stay on the bike lane, which will lead you into Fayetteville. Follow the bike lanes to Dickson Street. Once you reach Dickson Street, head east for about 1.5 miles, and you will find the Washington County Historical Society on your right at 118 E Dickson St.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Springdale near the Springdale Town Center. Head south on E Emma Ave until you reach the intersection with S 40th St. Turn left and walk east along E Emma Ave. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with S 48th St, then turn right. Follow S 48th St until you reach the intersection with Dickson St in Fayetteville. Turn left onto Dickson St and walk about 1 mile. The Washington County Historical Society will be located on your left at 118 E Dickson St.
