Van Ardi Winery, located in the village of Sasunik in the Aragatsotn region, is a testament to Armenia's resurgence as a prominent winemaking destination. Founded in 2008 by Varuzhan Muradyan, who traded a finance career in Los Angeles to pursue his passion for winemaking in his homeland, the winery is a family-run operation that blends modern techniques with a deep respect for Armenian traditions. The winery's name, "Van Ardi," pays homage to Muradyan's ancestral roots in the ancient city of Van, symbolizing the "Sun of Van".
