From the Dilijan bus station, take a marshrutka (minibus) heading towards Ijevan. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Dimats Mountain trailhead. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes. A marshrutka from Dilijan to a location near Dimats Mountain costs approximately 200-300 AMD. Once you arrive, follow the signs leading to the hiking trail.

Taxis are readily available in Dilijan. A taxi ride from the city center to the Dimats Mountain trailhead will cost approximately 1500-2500 AMD, depending on the distance and negotiation. Ensure the driver knows the location of the trailhead or is willing to use a GPS navigation app. Taxi fare in Dilijan has a starting price of 600 AMD, and each kilometer is priced at 100 AMD.

From the center of Dilijan, head northwest on Myasnikyan Street towards Kamo Street. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, passing the Dilijan National Park entrance on your right. Turn left onto the road marked with a sign for Dimats Mountain. Follow this road for approximately 3 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the hiking start point. You will see a sign for Dimats Mountain as you arrive. Parking is free. Be aware that the road to Dimats can be challenging and is best suited for SUVs.
