Getting There

Walking
From the center of Haghpat, start at the Haghpat Monastery, which is a well-known landmark. Exit the monastery grounds and head towards the main road leading out of Haghpat. Walk straight along this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the T-junction. At the junction, turn left onto the road that leads to Akhtala. Continue walking for another 2 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views of the mountains. As you approach Akhtala, look for signs directing you to Aramyants Castle. The castle is located at 1 Hangrvanayin Street in Akhtala, approximately 500 meters from the main road. Follow the signs, and you will find the castle entrance. The total walking distance is about 3.5 kilometers and will take roughly 45-60 minutes.
