If you prefer to walk from the central area of Kapan, head north on Tigran Mets Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with A. Mikoyan Street. Turn left onto A. Mikoyan Street and follow it which will eventually lead you out of the city. After about 4.5 kilometers of walking, you will find signs directing you to Saghmosavank. The walk takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
