If you are traveling by car, start by entering Khosrov Forest State Reserve through the main entrance. Follow the main road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the sign for Havuts Tar Monastery. Turn onto the dirt road that leads towards the monastery complex. The road may be bumpy, so drive slowly. After about 2 kilometers, you will see the monastery complex on your left side. There is a small parking area where you can leave your car.

To reach Havuts Tar Monastery Complex via public transportation, take a bus or minibus from Yerevan to the nearest village, Garni. From Garni, you can hire a taxi to take you to the entrance of Khosrov Forest State Reserve. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes and may cost around 3,000-4,000 AMD.
