Walking
Start at the Vayk bus station. Head south on Tigran Mets Street toward the main square for about 500 meters. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with H11 road. Turn left onto H11 and follow it for approximately 3 km. You will pass through some rural areas and fields. Look for signs indicating you are approaching Khor Virap Monastery. As you get closer, you will see the monastery perched on a small hill; it's a prominent landmark. Follow the road until you reach the entrance of Khor Virap Monastery.

From Vayk, walk to the bus station and catch a minibus heading towards Ararat. Confirm with the driver that they stop near Khor Virap. The ride should take about 20-30 minutes. Get off at the closest stop to the monastery and walk the remaining distance, which should be about 1 km. Follow the signs to Khor Virap Monastery, which will be visible from a distance.
