From Areni, take the road towards P6G4+472, following the directions to the Magellan Cave, which is located near Areni. The cave is approximately a 10-minute drive from the center of Areni. Park your vehicle at the designated parking area near the cave entrance. Entry to the cave may require a small fee, so be prepared with some cash.

    Public Transportation

    For those using public transportation, you can take a minibus (marshrutka) from Yerevan to Areni. The journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Areni, you can either walk to the cave, which is about 3 kilometers from the town center, or hire a local taxi for a short ride. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting the trip. The taxi ride should cost around 1,500 to 2,000 AMD.
