From Yerevan, take the M1 highway towards Vayots Dzor. After approximately 120 km, turn onto the A1 road towards Vernashen. Continue on this road for about 20 km until you reach Vernashen village. Upon entering the village, follow the signs or ask locals for directions to Spitakavor Church, which is located at R9H7+WFJ. The church is approximately 3 km from the village center. Note that the roads can be narrow and winding, so drive cautiously.

From Yerevan, take a bus or marshrutka to Vayk, which is the closest town in Vayots Dzor (approximately 2 hours). From Vayk, you can take another marshrutka or taxi to Vernashen (about 30 minutes). Once in Vernashen, you can either walk towards Spitakavor Church, which is around 3 km away, or hire a local taxi to take you directly to the church. It's advisable to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

If you choose to walk from Vernashen to Spitakavor, head southwest out of the village. Follow the dirt road that leads towards the hills. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Spitakavor Church. The walk is approximately 3 km and will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the path can be uneven and steep in parts.
