From Yerevan, take the M1 highway towards Vayots Dzor. Continue on M1 until you reach the town of Yeghegnadzor. In Yeghegnadzor, follow the signs to Artabuynk. After passing through Artabuynk, look for signs directing you to Smbataberd. The fortress is located at the coordinates 39.8717374, 45.3384059. You can park your car near the entrance.
