Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car within Arikok National Park, start at the Visitor Center, located at G3G7+MXG, Santa Cruz, Aruba. From the Visitor Center, drive south on the main park road (Route 1). Follow the signs for Boca Keto, which is about a 15-minute drive. The road may have some rough patches, so drive cautiously. You will see a parking area near Boca Keto, where you can park your vehicle.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, take a local bus or shuttle service that operates in the vicinity of Arikok National Park. You can catch the bus from Oranjestad or San Nicolas. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off at the Arikok National Park entrance. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you will need to hike approximately 45 minutes to reach Boca Keto. The hike is moderately challenging, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance for return trips.

• Hiking

  If you are already within the park and prefer hiking, you can take the designated trails to Boca Keto. From the nearest marked trailhead, follow the signs for Boca Keto, which will lead you through beautiful landscapes. The hike typically takes about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Make sure to carry water and wear appropriate hiking gear. There are no fees for hiking within the park, but make sure you have sufficient daylight to return safely.
