Car
If you are traveling by car, start by entering Arikok National Park from the main entrance located on the east side of the park. Drive along the main road, keeping an eye out for the signs pointing towards Fontein Cave. The cave is approximately a 15-minute drive from the entrance. Once you reach the sign for Fontein Cave, park in the designated area. The cave entrance is a short walk from the parking lot.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus or shuttle that services Arikok National Park. Make sure to check the schedule, as services may be limited. Upon arrival at the park, you can either walk or use a park-provided shuttle (if available) to reach Fontein Cave. Expect the walk to take around 30 minutes from the nearest stop, following the marked trails towards the cave entrance.
Walking
If you are already inside Arikok National Park and prefer to walk to Fontein Cave, look for the trail signs leading to the cave. The walk from the main road to the cave is about 10 to 15 minutes. Follow the well-marked paths, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Ensure you have appropriate footwear, as the terrain can be rocky.
