From the center of Oranjestad, walk towards the L.G. Smith Boulevard, the main road along the waterfront. Most boat tours depart from docks along this boulevard, near the Renaissance Marketplace or the cruise terminal. Check your tour confirmation for the exact departure point. Allow 15-20 minutes to walk from the city center. Note that the Arubus station is also located close to the cruise terminal.

Arubus, the local bus service, has a central station next to the cruise terminal in Oranjestad. Several bus routes connect the hotel areas and other parts of the island to this terminal. From the bus station, it's a short walk to the docks along L.G. Smith Boulevard where many boat tours depart. A one-way bus fare is approximately $2.60 (4.50 AWG).

Taxis are readily available in Oranjestad and can take you directly to the departure point of your boat tour along L.G. Smith Boulevard. Taxi fares are fixed and not metered; a trip from the hotel area to the docks will likely cost around $7-$10. Confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey. A surcharge of $3 is added on Sundays, official holidays, and from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

If you are driving to the boat tour departure point, paid parking is available in designated areas along L.G. Smith Boulevard and near Caya Betico Croes. Look for white-lined parking spaces with registration numbers. Parking is enforced from Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 7 pm. Payment can be made with local or U.S. coins, or by credit card at some machines. Hourly rates are approximately 2 AWG ($1.14 USD). Free parking can be found at the Renaissance hotel lots south of Lucy's Retired Surf Bar.
