Getting There

• Walking

  Starting from the center of Paradera, walk towards the main road, which is Route 1. Head east on Route 1 (L.G. Smith Boulevard) towards Oranjestad. Continue walking for approximately 2.5 kilometers. You will pass by various local shops and restaurants along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Oranjestad. As you approach the city, you will notice the surroundings becoming more urban. After about 30-40 minutes of walking, you will reach the area of Lloyd G. Smith Blvd. The I Heart Aruba Sign is located at Lloyd G. Smith Blvd 150, which is a popular tourist attraction and should be easily recognizable with its colorful letters.

• Public Bus

  From Paradera, find the nearest bus stop where you can catch a bus heading to Oranjestad. The buses are usually marked with their destinations, so look for one that indicates Oranjestad. The bus ride should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive in Oranjestad, get off at the bus terminal. From the terminal, you will need to walk towards Lloyd G. Smith Blvd. Head southeast on Caya G.F. Betico Croes until you reach the intersection with Lloyd G. Smith Blvd. Turn left and walk about 1 kilometer. The I Heart Aruba Sign will be on your left at Lloyd G. Smith Blvd 150.

• Bicycle Rental
