Getting There

Walking
Start from the San Nicolas town center, specifically at the San Nicolas Community Museum. Head east on the main road, Calle Principal, and continue straight. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the main road that leads towards Oranjestad. Continue for another 1 kilometer until you reach the next roundabout. Take the first exit onto the road leading to Balashi. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers, passing local shops and small residential areas. You will see signs directing you to Balashi Gold Mills. The site will be on your left, just before you reach the F2MG+FJG area.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the San Nicolas bus terminal, take the bus heading towards Oranjestad. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to get off near Balashi. The bus will take you along the main road, and after about 15-20 minutes, ask to be dropped off at the nearest stop to Balashi Gold Mills. Once you exit the bus, walk back for about 200 meters towards the direction from where the bus came. Look for the signs indicating Balashi Gold Mills, which should be just a short walk away.

Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the San Nicolas town square and head east on Calle Principal. Follow the same route as walking: continue straight until you reach the roundabout, take the second exit, and ride towards Oranjestad. After about 3.5 kilometers, turn onto the road leading to Balashi. Keep an eye out for the signs, and you will find Balashi Gold Mills on your left. The ride should take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your speed.
