This natural wonder is a tranquil, crystal-clear pool encircled by volcanic rock formations, offering a unique swimming and snorkeling experience. This creates a haven teeming with colorful fish and coral life, making it ideal for snorkeling. Located within Arikok National Park, Conchi is more than just a geological marvel; it's a cherished part of Aruba's history and culture. For generations, locals have considered it a secret getaway. The pool's Papiamento name, Conchi, meaning "bowl," aptly describes its appearance. The journey to Conchi is an adventure. Access is limited to 4x4 vehicles, ATVs, horseback riding, or a challenging hike through the park's rugged terrain. This remoteness helps preserve its pristine beauty, offering a stark contrast to Aruba's more crowded tourist spots.
