Taxis are readily available throughout Oranjestad, including near the cruise terminal and major hotels. A taxi ride from the city center to Bucutiweg 20 is a short trip. Taxi fares in Aruba are fixed and not metered. Expect to pay a minimum fare of $7 USD for a short trip within Oranjestad. Note that there is a $3 surcharge on Sundays, official holidays, and between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
