From the California Lighthouse, walk to the nearest bus stop on Route 1. Take the local bus heading towards Noord. Get off at the stop closest to the California Sand Dunes and walk approximately 1 kilometer following the signs towards the dunes. The bus fare is typically around $2.

From anywhere in Noord, a taxi can take you to the California Sand Dunes. Taxis are readily available in tourist areas. A taxi ride from Palm Beach to the California Sand Dunes will cost approximately $15-$20. There is a surcharge of $3 on Sundays, official holidays, and from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
