Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Savaneta, near the local shops and eateries. Head north on the main road, which is called 'Savaneta Road'. Walk for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach the intersection with 'Zoutman Road'. Turn right onto Zoutman Road and continue walking until you see signs directing you towards Oranjestad. Once you reach the main highway (Caya G. F. Betico Croes), cross at the pedestrian crossing and follow the signs towards Oranjestad. Continue walking for about 30 minutes until you reach De Palm Island Way. The Snorkeling zone is located along this road.

  • Bicycle

    If you can rent a bicycle in Savaneta, begin at the local bike rental shop. Head north along 'Savaneta Road' for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach 'Zoutman Road'. Turn right onto Zoutman Road. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach the main highway (Caya G. F. Betico Croes). Carefully cross the highway and continue towards De Palm Island Way. Follow this road for another 5 kilometers until you reach the Snorkeling zone.

    From Savaneta, find the nearest bus stop along 'Savaneta Road'. Take a bus heading towards Oranjestad. The bus ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the bus stop closest to 'De Palm Island Way'. From there, walk along De Palm Island Way for about 10 minutes until you reach the Snorkeling zone.
