Discover more about Baby Beach

Baby Beach, or Klein Lagoen, is a man-altered lagoon located near the village of Seroe Colorado on Aruba's southeast coast. Its nickname comes from its remarkably shallow and calm waters, making it an ideal spot for families with young children and those new to snorkeling. Originally a local secret, Baby Beach has transformed into a must-visit destination, retaining its serene and welcoming character. In the 1950s, the Aruba Esso Club was built here as part of the Lago Colony, featuring a restaurant, dance floor, and baseball stadium. Today, remnants of this history can be seen in the abandoned buildings near the beach. The lagoon's shallow waters extend far out, allowing swimmers to wade comfortably. A designated snorkeling area, protected by rocks, teems with colorful tropical fish and marine life. While the refinery is visible in the distance, the currents keep the water clean and clear. Visitors can rent beach chairs, windscreens, and snorkel gear. Food and drinks are available at the beachside snack stands and grills. Baby Beach offers a blend of natural beauty and historical significance, providing a peaceful escape with a glimpse into Aruba's vibrant culture.
