Ferry
De Palm Island is accessible only by ferry from the mainland. The ferry terminal, known as Port De Palm, is located in Balashi, a short drive from Oranjestad. **From Oranjestad:** * **Taxi:** A taxi from the Oranjestad cruise terminal or downtown hotels to Port De Palm costs approximately $19, plus a $3 surcharge on Sundays. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes. * **Car:** Drive past the airport and take the third roundabout, following the signs for De Palm Island. Free parking is available at the ferry terminal. **Ferry Details:** The ferry ride to De Palm Island takes about 5 minutes and departs approximately every 15 minutes throughout the day. The ferry service is included in the De Palm Island day pass. **De Palm Island Day Pass Costs (as of July 2025):** * Full Day Adult (13+): $94 without transportation, $109 with transportation. * Full Day Child (4-12): $69 without transportation, $79 with transportation. *Note: Prices and schedules are subject to change.
