4.5

Renaissance Island, a 40-acre private island owned by the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort, is a tropical escape like no other. Just a short water taxi ride from Oranjestad, this island is renowned for its pristine beaches and, most famously, its pink flamingos. These elegant birds roam freely on Flamingo Beach, creating a surreal and unforgettable experience for visitors. The island is divided into two main areas: Flamingo Beach, an adults-only area where the flamingos reside, and Iguana Beach, a family-friendly beach perfect for those with children. Both beaches boast crystal-clear turquoise waters and soft, white sand, ideal for swimming, sunbathing, and relaxation. Beyond the beaches, Renaissance Island offers a variety of activities and amenities, including a spa, nature trails, restaurants, and bars. Getting to Renaissance Island is an experience in itself. Guests of the Renaissance Wind Creek Aruba Resort enjoy complimentary water taxi service, with boats departing every 15 minutes from the hotel lobby. Non-guests can also access the island by purchasing a day pass, booking a spa treatment at the Island Cove Spa, or attending the Dinner Under the Stars event. However, day passes are limited and subject to availability, so it's essential to plan accordingly. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach, mingle with flamingos, or explore the island's natural beauty, Renaissance Island promises a day of unforgettable memories.
