From the center of Airlie Beach, walk towards Shute Harbour Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Waterson Way. Turn left onto Waterson Way and follow the road until you reach the bus stop near the Whitsunday Shopping Centre. It's about a 15-minute walk.

At the bus stop near the Whitsunday Shopping Centre, catch the local bus heading towards Shute Harbour. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next bus. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Shute Harbour terminal.

At Shute Harbour, you will need to take a ferry to the Whitsunday Islands. Purchase your ferry ticket from the ticket booth and board the ferry that goes to Hamilton Island or Daydream Island. The ferry ride will take about 30-45 minutes depending on your destination.
