Walking
From the center of Airlie Beach, start at the Airlie Beach Lagoon. Head southeast towards Shute Harbour Road. Continue walking along Shute Harbour Road for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several shops and eateries along the way, making it a pleasant walk. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing to Airlie Bay. As you approach the bay, you will see beautiful views of the water on your left. Once you reach the end of Shute Harbour Road, you will arrive at Airlie Bay, where you can enjoy the stunning beachfront and surrounding views.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Airlie Beach. Start at the Airlie Beach Lagoon and head southeast on Shute Harbour Road, following the same route as walking. The bike ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes. Be cautious of traffic and make sure to use designated bike lanes where available. Once you reach the end of Shute Harbour Road, you will arrive at the scenic Airlie Bay.
Public Transport (Bus)
For those looking to use public transport, check the local bus schedule for routes heading towards Shute Harbour. Board the bus at the nearest stop to your location in Airlie Beach. The bus will take you along Shute Harbour Road, and you will need to disembark at the stop closest to Airlie Bay. From there, it will be a short walk to the bay area.
