From the Atherton township, head south on Main Street (State Route 25) towards the intersection with the Kennedy Highway (State Route 1). Turn left onto the Kennedy Highway and continue for approximately 9 kilometers. Look for the signs for Curtain Fig National Park; turn right onto Curtain Fig Road. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the park entrance.

Start from Atherton's main bus stop located on Main Street. Take a bus heading to Malanda or Yungaburra. The bus service is operated by TransLink and runs several times a day (check the schedule for specific times). Ask the driver to drop you off at the stop closest to Curtain Fig Road. From there, it's about a 1-kilometer walk to the entrance of Curtain Fig National Park.
