Walking
From the Byron Bay town center, head east on Jonson Street until you reach the intersection with Lighthouse Road. Turn left onto Lighthouse Road. Continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers. You will pass through a residential area and then enter Cape Byron State Conservation Area. Follow the signs to the Cape Byron Lookout, which is at the end of Lighthouse Road. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of the coastline.
Bicycle
Start at the Byron Bay town center and rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops. Head east on Jonson Street, then turn left onto Lighthouse Road. Continue cycling for about 2 kilometers. This route is relatively flat, making it a pleasant ride. You will pass through residential areas and then enter the conservation area. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Cape Byron Lookout. The bike ride should take around 15-20 minutes.
Public Transport (Bus)
From the Byron Bay town center, walk to the nearest bus stop and take the local bus that services Lighthouse Road. Make sure to check the bus schedule, as service frequency may vary. Get off at the stop closest to the Cape Byron State Conservation Area. Follow the signs to the Cape Byron Lookout, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
