Getting There

Walking
From Kingston, head northwest on Eyre Street towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Wentworth Avenue. Turn left onto Wentworth Avenue and walk for approximately 15 minutes. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto King Edward Terrace. Continue straight, and you will see Questacon - National Science and Technology Centre on your left. The total walking distance is about 1.5 kilometers, and this should take around 20-25 minutes.

From Kingston, walk to the nearest bus stop on Eyre Street (Stop 9). Catch Bus Route 2 or 3 towards the city. Get off at the 'City Bus Station' after approximately 10 minutes. From the bus station, transfer to Bus Route 300 or 301 and take it towards 'Parkes'. Get off at the stop 'King Edward Terrace' which is very close to Questacon. The total journey will take around 30-40 minutes including waiting times and transfers. Bus fares will vary depending on the distance traveled, so check the ACT Government transport website for the latest fare information.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services available in Kingston. Head north on Eyre Street until you reach Wentworth Avenue. Turn left and continue on the bike lanes. After around 1.5 kilometers, you will reach Questacon.
