The creek marks the northernmost point accessible by 2WD vehicles without crossing the creek.

Driving
From Cape Tribulation, head north on Cape Tribulation Road. After approximately 5km, turn right onto Cape Tribulation Bloomfield Road. Continue for about 3.5km on the unsealed road until you reach a small parking area on the left, just before the Emmagen Creek crossing. The walk to the swimming hole is a short distance from the parking area.

From the parking area on Cape Tribulation Bloomfield Road, follow the well-trodden path into the rainforest. The walk is relatively short and easy, taking you through lush vegetation to the Emmagen Creek swimming hole. Look for a gap between the scrub where you should see a dirt track.
