Car
If you're driving, head towards Kariong from your location in Central Coast. Use the M1 Pacific Motorway and take the exit towards the Central Coast Highway (A49) towards Gosford. Continue on the Central Coast Highway until you reach the intersection with Woy Woy Road. Turn left onto Woy Woy Road, then follow signs to Kariong. Once in Kariong, look for Great North Walk, which is where the trailhead to Kariong Brook Falls is located. There is free parking available along the road near the trailhead.
Public Transport
To reach Kariong Brook Falls by public transport, take a train to Gosford Station from your location in Central Coast. From Gosford Station, you can catch a bus (Route 56 or 57) that heads towards Kariong. Get off at the stop on Woy Woy Road near Kariong. From there, it's a short 10-15 minute walk to the trailhead on Great North Walk. Be mindful of the bus schedule, as services may not run frequently, especially on weekends.
Walking
Once you arrive at Great North Walk, follow the trail markers towards Kariong Brook Falls. The walk to the falls is approximately 1.5 kilometers and will take about 30-40 minutes depending on your pace. The path is moderately steep in some areas, so wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water. The falls are a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy nature, so take your time and enjoy the scenery.
