Car
If you're driving from Rockhampton, head north on the Bruce Highway (A1) for approximately 3 km. Take the exit onto the Capricorn Highway (A49) toward Gracemere. Continue on the Capricorn Highway for about 4 km, then turn left onto Pilbeam Drive. Follow Pilbeam Drive for around 5 km, and you will arrive at Mount Archer National Park. Look for signs indicating the park entrance. Note that parking is available on-site, but there may be fees for parking, so be prepared with cash or a card.
Public Transport
To reach Mount Archer National Park via public transport, start from Rockhampton's city center and take a local bus service to Mount Archer. Check the local bus schedule for routes that go towards Mount Archer, as there may not be direct services. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop to Mount Archer, you may need to walk approximately 1-2 km to the park entrance. Make sure to plan your trip according to the bus timetable, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.
