Getting There

  • Car

    From your location in Daintree Rainforest, head north on the Mossman-Daintree Road (State Route 44). Continue driving for approximately 24 kilometers. You will pass through scenic views of the rainforest and cross the Daintree River via the Daintree Ferry (a toll fee of around AUD $30 for a vehicle round trip). After crossing the river, continue on the Cape Tribulation Road. Follow the signs for Daintree Coast and take a right turn onto Daintree Coast Road. You will reach Daintree Coast in about 15 minutes.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, you will first need to take a bus from your location in Daintree Rainforest to the Daintree Village. This service operates several times a day, and the fare is approximately AUD $10 to $15. From Daintree Village, you can catch a shuttle bus that goes to Daintree Coast. Make sure to check the shuttle schedule ahead of time as it may have limited departures. The total travel time including transfers may take around 1 to 1.5 hours.
