If you are coming from the south and want to cross the Daintree River, you will need to use the Daintree Ferry. It is located just before the Daintree Gateway. The ferry operates daily from 5 AM to 12 AM, and there is a fee for the crossing (approximately AUD 30 for a standard vehicle).
