Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the nearest town, Port Douglas. Head north on Port Douglas Road (Mowbray River Road) towards Mossman. After approximately 22 kilometers, turn left onto Mossman-Daintree Road, which will lead you directly into Daintree National Park. Continue on this road for about 30 kilometers, following the signs for Daintree Village and the national park entrance. Be sure to pay the entry fee of approximately AUD 12 per vehicle at the entrance.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a shuttle service or bus from Cairns or Port Douglas to Daintree Village. The bus will drop you off at Daintree Village where you can catch a local shuttle or taxi to the national park entrance. It's recommended to check the schedule in advance for bus timings, and the fare from Port Douglas to Daintree Village is around AUD 35. From the village, the taxi or shuttle to the park entrance will cost approximately AUD 20.

Ferry
Once you reach the Daintree Village, you will need to take the Daintree River Ferry to cross the river. The ferry operates daily and runs every 20 minutes, taking about 10 minutes to cross. The cost for the ferry is AUD 30 return for a vehicle and AUD 12 for pedestrians. After crossing, continue driving along Cape Tribulation Road until you reach the national park entrance.
