Street Art, delicious food and fun and friendly hosts makes for a great night out in Darwin!

I recently was lucky enough to experience this fantastic 3-Hour Outback Gourmet Food & Art Tour of Darwin. Our lovely hosts Darrel and Chris were authentic, fun and knowledgeable, and certainly know how to pick the best spots in town to dine! We started off with a Vietnamese feast at a popular little restaurant in town before heading off on a guided walking tour of some of the city's fantastic street art. We finished up down at the Waterfront for more food including a delicious whole fresh Snapper! Was such a fun evening and I would recommend this tour to anyone who loves street art, history and damn good food! :)

Darwin city shore excursion - a very interesting and comprehensive day tour

We visited Darwin on a cruise in February 2026. As we only had one day in Darwin and hadn't visited before we wanted to see as much of the city as we could in the time we had there. We booked the Darwin city shore excursion and it was excellent. We were collected from the cruise terminal in a comfortable airconditioned van and had a very comprehensive six hour tour all over the city seeing all the major sights. This included a visit to the impressive parliament house and the art gallery and a stop for morning tea which included delicious homemade muffins. Our guide Uschi was very informative, knowledgeable and friendly. Booking through the website and our communications with Rob the owner of the company were very easy and prompt and we are very happy to recommend this company.

Delightful way to explore Darwin

The Darwin hop-on hop-off bus service is a delightful way to experience the city's key attractions with ease. The bus service offered a well-planned route with several convenient stops. The commentary provided useful information about the landmarks and neighbourhoods we passed. We stopped at the Parap Markets. The markets were a vibrant and lively experience, brimming with local produce, arts and crafts, and delicious street food. I enjoyed browsing through the stalls, sampling some fresh and tasty treats, and soaking up the lively atmosphere. The convenience of the hop-on hop-off bus really shone through here. After a fulfilling time at the markets, it was easy to catch the next bus to continue our sightseeing.
