Public Bus
From Darwin's city center, head to the nearest bus stop on Smith Street. Look for Bus Route 4, which heads towards Jingili. Board the bus and remain on it for approximately 20-25 minutes. Disembark at the stop labeled 'Trower Road and Freshwater Road'. From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes west along Freshwater Road, and you will arrive at Jingili Water Gardens, located at the intersection of Trower Road and Freshwater Road.
Walking
If you are staying close to the Darwin city center, you may consider walking to Jingili Water Gardens. Head northwest along Mitchell Street, then turn left onto Knuckey Street. Continue straight until you reach Trower Road. Turn right and follow Trower Road for approximately 2 kilometers. This will take about 25-30 minutes on foot. As you approach, you will see the gardens on your left at the intersection with Freshwater Road.
Bicycle Rental
For a more active option, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Darwin. Start your journey heading northwest along the bike paths. Follow the paths towards Trower Road. Once you reach Trower Road, turn right and continue cycling for about 2 kilometers. Jingili Water Gardens will be on your left at the corner of Trower Road and Freshwater Road. This bike ride should take around 10-15 minutes.
