Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards the town of Lorne. From Melbourne, take the M1 highway towards Geelong, then follow the signs to the Great Ocean Road (B100). Continue on the Great Ocean Road until you reach Lorne. Once in Lorne, look for Erskine Falls Access Rd and follow it until you reach the car park at the falls. There is no entry fee to access the falls, but parking is limited.
Public Transport
To reach Erskine Falls using public transport, catch a V/Line train from Melbourne to Geelong. From Geelong, take a bus to Lorne (check V/Line or local transport services for schedules). Once in Lorne, you may need to walk or take a taxi to Erskine Falls Access Rd. The walk from the town to the falls is approximately 3 km, and you may want to prepare for a hiking trail that leads to the falls.
Walking
If you are already in Lorne and prefer walking, you can trek from the town center to Erskine Falls. Head to Erskine Falls Access Rd and follow the signs. The walk takes about 45 minutes and is a beautiful trek through the lush scenery of the Great Otway National Park. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as the trail can be steep and uneven in places.
